CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, MEDAN, SUMATRA |

Rozi and
Beth Schmohr went to Medan,
the capital of the province of North Sumatera, to help her friend
Linley York to
paint the childrens' ward of a local hospital. At this hospital they
specialize in surgery to repair facial defects such as cleft palettes
and hair lips. |

BOY SCOUT PROJECT, JAKARTA |

This was a boy scout project that Rozi
helped with. The boys built a cart for one of the
Jakarta Trash
Pickers, and Rozi assisted with the decoration and painting. |

PIONEER'S HOME, ANCHORAGE, ALASKA |

Rozi was asked if she could help cheer
up the TV room in the
Anchorage Pioneer's Home. Originally the room
had just a plain colored wall, so Rozi painted a mural of an Alaskan
winter scene (the bigger picture to the left). After a few weeks the
home contacted Rozi and said that the residents kept complaining
that the room was too cold, so Rozi went back and changed it into a
summer scene. Everyone happy! |
