Introduction
Azimuthal projection maps of the globe are a useful and convenient way of
seeing the entire globe all at once. I found many of these maps online, but none
were centered around the location I was looking for, nor did they offer the
means of identifying the location of the cities that I needed to have displayed.
So back in 2008 I started another Visual Basic 6 project to do this. My progression to VB2010 gave me an excuse to tidy the program up at the same time as learning a few more coding skills.
You can see some examples of the maps created using my program in my Gallery, as well as a more detailed description of the actual program should you be interested.
The program is available for download as a Windows executable here if you wish to play around with it.
Thank you for looking!
